CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE PROVISION OF RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING SERVICES – APRIL 6, 2023
The Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) is a Statutory body mandated to regulate the broadcasting industry in Zambia. Among the functions of the IBA is to grant Radio and Television broadcasting licences.
Pursuant to Section 20 (1) of the IBA (Amendment) Act No. 26 of 2010, the IBA now invites applications for the provision of Radio and Television broadcasting services in different parts of the country. Below are the specified areas with the available number of Radio frequencies and Television spaces:

Requirements
(i) Cover letter
(ii) Filled-in IBA Application Form which can be downloaded from: www.iba.org.zm
(iii) A viable Business plan,
(iv) Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and certified copies of IDs for both the shareholders and a minimum of five (5) Board members,
(v) A certificate of registration and shareholders Certificate from PACRA (for those applying for Commercial category),
(vi) A Certificate of Registration and Article of Association from the Registrar of Societies (for those applying for Community category),
(vii) A programming schedule, and
(viii) A Non- refundable application fee of K3, 000.00 OR USD1, 000.00 for Landing Rights.

Application Instructions
